The west coast of Corsica is perhaps the more popular of the two thanks to its vivid landscape, breath-taking views of the Mediterranean Sea, and safe harbors in the ports of Ajaccio, Girolata, and Calvi.
Together, these communes cover a large expanse of the Corsican west coast and offer a blend of cultural heritages, lively waters and beaches, exotic resorts, and continental food. Most Corsican itineraries start from Ajaccio.
