Introduced by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht Lady Amanda is a 98 ft motor yacht featuring a jetski and a hot tub. The primary distinction of Lady Amanda are her absolute comfort and fantastic layout. Lady Amanda spends the summer and winter season in Corsica. She was completed by recognized shipbuilder Couach in 2006. An elegant refit was delivered in 2021. The ingenious yacht layout features 4 large cabins and comfortably accommodates a maximum of 10 guests.

Lady Amanda is classified as a superyacht. The prominent section of the yacht, expansive aft deck, elegantly connects to the the heart of the yacht - the main saloon. The main saloon is a comfortable space to spend time when the aft deck might not be as desirable (at port, private conversations) and serves as a location of entertainment.

Accommodation

Lady Amanda refitted 2021 and launched in 2006, a 30-metre Couach offering the best selection of onboard toys. She is a premium charter vessel, looks amazing and has one of the most welcoming crews.

Lady Amanda’s impressive leisure and entertaining facilities have made her a well-known and popular fixture on the charter scene. Her owner is particularly passionate about watersports, therefore Lady Amanda boasts a selection of toys better than that of many 45-metre yachts. These include a 4,6metre tender, a 5-metre slide, a Fliteboard AIR 175litre, a FlyBoard, Jetsurf, an ocean pool with jellyfish protection net, a golfing pad with biodegradable balls, a balloon blast, a crane swing, PWC, seabobs, immotor electric scooter, an SJ pro SUP package, paddleboards, snorkelling and fishing equipment, waterskis, wakeboards, a wakeskate and a doughnut amongst others. There is also a Mavic pro platinum air drone and a Power Ray power vision sub drone to immortalise the guest experience.

Lady Amanda is able to accommodate 10 guests in four ensuite cabins, across a full beam master suite, a queen and two doubles with a Pullman each. The classic interior from Franck Reynaud is light and inviting, with calming neutral whites and polished woods the dominant theme. A comfortable saloon with easy access to the outdoors creates a sociable space. The yacht also boasts impressive outdoor deck space that includes several lounging and dining areas across the aft deck, foredeck and large flybridge, and sun pads on the foredeck and a Jacuzzi on the flybridge.

Captain - Ashley Oberholzer
Ashley Oberholzer is M/Y Lady Amanda's bilingual Anglo/Saxon Captain.
Ashley is British born and was raised in France on his parents 20m charter boat "Champagne Charlie" for 13 years off the Riviera coast. Ashley has now accumulated a significant amount of yachting experience since his career debut in 2008, progressing from deckhand through to engineer, to now on the Captain’s seat.
Ashley has worked on boats ranging from 20m to 60m, covering most of the Mediterranean Sea. An expert Watersports Instructor and an avid explorer, his crew are his family and the sea is his home.

Chef - Johane Garrone
Johane has joined Lady Amanda for his second season in yachting. He was born into a restaurant owning family in New Caledonia, starting very young helping around in the family business gave him a natural instinct for cooking and managing the restauration environment.
This was instrumental after starting to make his own way into the culinary world, starting to perfect his skills on land at first and then gathering knowledge whilst travelling the globe all in order to be an impressive addition to any size of yacht.
From Mediterranean to Pacific exotic dishes, nothing is out of his reach.

Chief Stewardess - Rebecca Wadsworth
Rebecca is Lady Amanda’s New Chief Stewardess.
Born in the United Kingdom some 25 years ago, Becca first started as a mobile test unit supervisor, managing teams to test the units and making daily dynamic risk assessments. After this Becca moved into a Personal-assistants position for a lead creative in the fashion industry, organizing every aspect of her ever-changing schedule.
Little did she know this would be the perfect training to join the yachting industry’s fast-paced high standard requirements.
She started her career in yachting in 2023 working on various small vessels based around the South of France, Corsica and Sardinia.
During her time onboard this smaller size of the vessel, Becca was required to assist in every part of the yacht’s running. From the interior up-keep and guest service of course to the tender and toys launching and recuperating without forgetting all the usual manoeuvres required during a trip. Her skills and success are what attracted her to Lady Amanda for the 2024 season.

Stew/Deck - Alice Symington
Alice is the newest recruit for Lady Amanda’s Interior/deck crew.
Born and raised in England, Alice entered the working life early minding children at first before moving into hospice care for the elderly.
Her patience and caring nature have helped make a seamless transition into the service industry.
Alice initially worked as a chalet operative in 2023, providing a similar level of service and professionalism found in Yachting.
During her time in Val D’Isère ski resort, Alice was in charge of managing all continental breakfast set ups as well as light healthy cooked brunches, daily cleaning and refreshments of cabins at multiple properties.
Her bubbly personality and hardworking ethics made her the perfect addition to Lady Amanda’s 2024 charter team.

Deckhand/Watersports Instructor - Daniel Johnson
Daniel Johnson is M/Y Lady Amanda’s Deckhand/Watersports Instructor in 2023.
Daniel is British but has travelled over the world giving him a wide scope of experiences, living within different cultures/countries including - Thailand, Malta, Canary Islands, England and France.
Daniel has transferred his shore-based skills as a Watersports Activity Instructor/Surf School teacher and outdoor Events organizer and applied them onboard Lady Amanda’s extensive water toys selection. He has successfully completed all maritime training and combined this to his many years of previous seagoing experience to be able to start out this season onboard Lady Amanda. During winter 2023 Daniel completed his Yacht Master.
Having had the chance to climb up to Annapurna Basecamp in Nepal gave Daniel the experience in pushing over and above to achieve extraordinary results.
Dan’s easy going and open demeanour makes all guests feel welcome and safe without diluting the amount of fun and professionalism provided.

He was born into a restaurant owning family in New Caledonia, starting very young helping around in the family business gave him a natural instinct for cooking and managing the restauration environment. <br /> This was instrumental after starting to make his own way into the culinary world, starting to perfect his skills on land at first and then gathering knowledge whilst travelling the globe all in order to be an impressive addition to any size of yacht. <br /> From Mediterranean to Pacific exotic dishes, nothing is out of his reach. <br /> “Bon Appetit” <br /> <br /> Chief Stewardess - Rebecca Wadsworth <br /> Rebecca is Lady Amanda’s New Chief Stewardess.<br /> Born in the United Kingdom some 25 years ago, Becca first started as a mobile test unit supervisor, managing teams to test the units and making daily dynamic risk assessments. After this Becca moved into a Personal-assistants position for a lead creative in the fashion industry, organizing every aspect of her ever-changing schedule. <br /> Little did she know this would be the perfect training to join the yachting industry’s fast-paced high standard requirements. <br /> She started her career in yachting in 2023 working on various small vessels based around the South of France, Corsica and Sardinia. <br /> During her time onboard this smaller size of the vessel, Becca was required to assist in every part of the yacht’s running. From the interior up-keep and guest service of course to the tender and toys launching and recuperating without forgetting all the usual manoeuvres required during a trip. Her skills and success are what attracted her to Lady Amanda for the 2024 season. <br /> “service with a smile”<br /> <br /> Stew/Deck - Alice Symington <br /> Alice is the newest recruit for Lady Amanda’s Interior/deck crew. <br /> Born and raised in England, Alice entered the working life early minding children at first before moving into hospice care for the elderly. <br /> Her patience and caring nature have helped make a seamless transition into the service industry. <br /> Alice initially worked as a chalet operative in 2023, providing a similar level of service and professionalism found in Yachting. <br /> During her time in Val D’Isère ski resort, Alice was in charge of managing all continental breakfast set ups as well as light healthy cooked brunches, daily cleaning and refreshments of cabins at multiple properties. <br /> Her bubbly personality and hardworking ethics made her the perfect addition to Lady Amanda’s 2024 charter team. <br /> “Sea you soon ” <br /> <br /> Deckhand/Watersports Instructor - Daniel Johnson<br /> Daniel Johnson is M/Y Lady Amanda’s Deckhand/Watersports Instructor in 2023.<br /> Daniel is British but has travelled over the world giving him a wide scope of experiences, living within different cultures/countries including - Thailand, Malta, Canary Islands, England and France. <br /> Daniel has transferred his shore-based skills as a Watersports Activity Instructor/Surf School teacher and outdoor Events organizer and applied them onboard Lady Amanda’s extensive water toys selection. He has successfully completed all maritime training and combined this to his many years of previous seagoing experience to be able to start out this season onboard Lady Amanda. Athena is a truly amazing Chief Stew - she always anticipated our needs with professionalism and a smile. Her kindness and constant positive attitude made a big impact. We appreciated Lyndsey’s work in front of and behind the scenes - our cabins were always immaculate. Highlights from the Chef were breakfasts, Colby’s special dinners and his truffle crudités - those were a hit. And thanks to Dan (the unsung balloon blast hero) and Ashley for your coaching and patience as we constantly wore out the batteries enjoying every water toy to the max. Colby loved the crane swing and the slide. Fly boarding was a highlight and the hydrofoil was in high demand! Overall, we had an epic time, loved every minute, and can’t thank the crew enough!
