Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like SEVEN, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price (€19,750 - €31,600), making the charter cost €98,750 to €110,600. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

CAPTAIN
LUKE NEL
From a young age I was an avid sportsman, excelling
in athletics, cricket and rugby at a provincial level.
Surfing turned into a passion and then helping out
with washdowns and regattas at the Royal Cape
Yacht Club became the next logical step for me.
Serendipitously a motorcycle accident prevented me
from moving abroad and pursuing my cricket career.
Hence, my focus turned to yachting. I began in 1999
in Mallorca and in 2000 and got my first permanent
job and never looked back. I feel fortunate to do
something I love and am passionate about, truly
blessed.

From the age of four I was making fresh pasta, baking
breads and cakes and stoking the pizza oven with my
large Italian family. Growing up, my parents and I ran a
small catering business where we would go to their
homes and cook for families. In between all of that I
did some professional singing, dancing, modeling,
sports and most importantly spending time on the
ocean and hiking. Yes!! I'm a water baby and I have to
resist the urge to jump into the ocean constantly. I’ve
owned my own little coffee shop where I produced
home cooked Italian food to go along with their freshly
brewed coffee. After all that and two children I finally
decided to fulfil my dream of doing what I love the
most. Food and Sea. I cannot wait to share my
passion with you and create beautiful memories for
you on Seven.
