Nienke Barnard — Stewardess (South African)
Nienke comes from the sunny city of Cape Town, in South Africa, where she practiced gymnastics intensively for many years, giving her strong discipline, balance (and excellent sea legs) and physical endurance.
Real ball of energy, Nienke has an incredible physical endurance and thrives in fast-pace environments which led her to join the yachting industry 3 years ago.
She has since been sailing on board busy charter & private vessels across the Mediterranean.
Matthew Stratford — Bosun (South African)
Matthew discovered his passion for life at sea early in his career and has since gained valuable experience working on both sailing and motor yachts throughout the Mediterranean. He began on a sailing yacht cruising the Greek islands, where he developed a deep appreciation for the ocean, before moving on to a 50m motor yacht operating between the iconic destinations of Saint-Tropez and Positano.
With four seasons of yachting experience, including two years as Bosun on a busy charter yacht, Matthew thrives on creating a fun, energetic atmosphere on board for both guests and crew.
Naturally drawn to the water, Matthew spends much of his free time in the ocean. Whether surfing, playing padel, or enjoying a variety of water sports, he brings energy and enthusiasm to everything he does.
Andre Sarlija — First Officer (Croatian)
Born and raised in Zadar, Croatia, Andre has sailed the Adriatic and the Mediterranean since 2012 before setting sail to warmer waters in the middle East and the Caribbean.
He began his career on crew transfer vessels before transitioning into the yachting industry. With extensive experience on deck aboard vessels ranging from 45m yachts to 80m ships, Andre’s sailing and navigating skills are unmatched. Known for his unwavering positivity and infectious attitude, Andre brings great energy to life onboard.
Isabella Little — Stewardess (New Zealander)
Born in Australia, raised in New Zealand and South Africa, Isabella (or Bella) completed a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Brand Management in Cape Town.
During her studies she worked in hospitality at several restaurants, where she developed strong guest service skills before joining the yachting industry.
She has cruised extensively throughout the Mediterranean, visiting destinations such as Greece, the South of France, Italy, Ibiza, Capri, and Palma, which remains her favourite destination.
Known for her empathy and positive attitude, Bella takes pride in giving her best and creating a supportive environment for both guests and crew.
Vladislav Kuzmichov — Chief engineer (Ukrainian)
Vladislav grew up by the sea in Odessa, Ukraine.
He studied marine engineering at the Odessa Maritime Academy before starting his engineering career on commercial vessels.
After sailing around the world, he joined the yachting industry in 2019. Vladyslav has worked on charter & private motor yachts ranging from 38m up to 55m around the Mediterranean.
When not at home with his family, Vladyslav is always up to taking on new challenges with enough energy to power up the whole vessel !
Anna Maderska — Deckhand (Polish)
Anna grew up in Poland and began her yachting career in 2022. Since then, she has sailed extensively across the Mediterranean on both private and charter vessels, honing her deck skills on yachts ranging from 28m to 68m.
Energetic and adventurous, Anna is a true lover of the sea. A passionate water sports enthusiast, she has surfed and dived in destinations around the world. She also enjoys fishing and is always happy to share this passion with guests on board.
Renato Ivosic — Captain (Croatian)
Renato’s love for the sea came from growing up in beautiful Zadar, Croatia. Previously on M/Y More and M/Y Sea D, he has worked on a variety of yachts for the last 25 years and his extensive knowledge of the Mediterranean region from Turkey to Spain enables Renato to make the most lively and exciting itineraries throughout.
Fluent in five languages, Renato is very welcoming and he looks forward to receiving charter guests onboard!
Christian Richards — Chef (British)
With 29 years of dedicated experience, Christian has honed his culinary skills as a chef aboard a wide range of yachts, from intimate 30-meter vessels to luxurious 80-meter superyachts, working across both the private and charter sectors. Over the course of his career, He has successfully catered to over 80 charters, creating unforgettable culinary experiences for clients from all corners of the globe.
He is specialized in crafting gourmet fine dining meals tailored to the specific preferences, tastes, and dietary restrictions of yacht owners and their guests. Whether it’s a refined multi-course meal, bespoke fine dining requests, he prides himself on delivering exceptional dishes using only the finest, freshest ingredients local or international.
His expertise spans a wide variety of international cuisines, allowing him to adapt to any culinary request—whether it’s modern European, Asian fusion, Mediterranean, or healthy based dishes. He is committed to ensuring each meal is not only a feast for the palate but a key part of an unforgettable guest’s experience.
Marie Demay — Chief steward/ess (French/English)
With a double major in International Trade and Hospitality & Catering, Marie naturally found her way into the world of yachting, where she began her career as a stewardess eight years ago.
She has sailed the Mediterranean on board motor yachts ranging from 30 to 80m, where she developed a true passion for event design, mixology and bespoke concierge services.
From romantic sunset drinks on the beach to elegant birthday dinners by the water, Marie and her team take pride in creating unique, tailor-made experiences that leave lasting memories.
Adventurous by nature, Marie is a travel photography and technology enthusiast.
Jordan Renney — Engineer (South African)
Made in Durban, South Africa, Jordan surfed the waves of Cornwall UK before joining the yachting industry in 2020.
When not riding a board of some sorts, Jordan is fully immersed in his growth as a marine engineer aboard motor yachts.
Concerned about the environment, he continues to apply the technical knowledge he gained while working in the solar energy industry to his work in the engine room.
A true Swiss Army knife, he’s equally at home on deck, deep in the engine room, or buried in an instruction manual or a science-fiction novel. Whether it’s fixing, fine-tuning, or finding creative solutions, Jordan brings versatility, curiosity, and a hands-on approach to everything he does.
