Franco Costigliola — Captain (Italian)
Franco is a captain shaped by the sea from the very beginning. A graduate of the Nautical Institute of Bagnoli and a former helmsman in the Italian Navy, he brings to every charter a foundation of seamanship that is both deeply professional and instinctively human.
His career spans over two decades in command, from a Baglietto 36 m for the Swarovski family, through a succession of private motor yachts including a Tecnema 95s, Canados 86s and Tecnema 120, to his current long-standing role aboard the Magnum 60 for owner Nicola Schon, which he has held since 2014. Along the way he also served as Fleet Captain for Canados International, a role that speaks to the trust and respect he has earned throughout the industry.
Roman by birth and Mediterranean by nature, Franco combines precise navigation and calm authority with the kind of warmth that puts guests immediately at ease. He knows these waters intimately, and it shows.

Barbara Massari — Chef (Italian)
Barbara is a seasoned yacht hostess whose career reads like a who's who of Italian private yachting. Over nearly two decades aboard some of the most distinguished privately owned motor yachts in the Mediterranean, she has built a reputation for discreet, attentive service and the kind of quiet reliability that owners and guests return to season after season.
Her journey began in 2007 aboard a Pershing 86, and has since taken her through a Tecnema 120, a Canados 86s, a Mangusta 92, and most recently a Canados 72 — with stints alongside owner Nicola Schon aboard the Mangusta 80 and owner Nino Colnaghi on the Azimut in between. Each posting has deepened her understanding of the rhythms of private yacht life and the exacting standards that come with it.

Michele Romano — Deckhand (Italian)
Michele is a young and versatile crew member whose background spans both the galley and the dock, a combination that makes him genuinely useful across multiple areas of yacht life. Based in Bacoli on the Neapolitan coast, he has worked as a cook in Mediterranean beach restaurants, managed mooring operations and coordinated day charter programmes for Italian and international guests, and handled onboard catering and aperitivo service in a nautical tourism context.
Adaptable, calm under pressure and naturally oriented towards guest satisfaction, Michele brings the energy of someone at the beginning of a promising yachting career, eager, capable and quick to integrate into any crew dynamic. His mechanical background adds a practical, problem-solving mindset that proves useful well beyond the galley.
