Joshua MARTIN — First Officer (British)
Originally from the Isle of Mull, Joshua spent much of his youth exploring Scotland’s Inner Hebrides on board his dad’s fishing boat. This early experience inspired a passion for adventures at sea, and he now joins ST DAVID as the Chief Officer. When not on board, Joshua loves running and competes in as many events as time allows.
Kyle VAN ZYL — Deckhand (South African)
Kyle is from the west coast of Cape Town. He grew up around the ocean and have been surfing since he was a kid, so the sea’s always felt like home. For the past three years Kyle has been working as a deckhand in the superyacht industry. He has a real passion for watersports and enjoy creating memorable experiences for the guests we have onboard. It’s a lifestyle that keeps him close to the ocean and constantly learning.
Rosen ZLATINOV — Chief engineer (Bulgarian)
Rosen is enthusiastic experienced and easy going person who loves his job.
He has a vast background in yachting and commercial vessels. In his free time, he enjoys biking, motorsports, working out at the gym, and eating healthy food.
Brad TAYLOR — Deckhand (South African)
Experienced deck crew member from South Africa in yachting since 2022, recently serving as Bosun, with strengths in tender driving, water sports, and safety coordination on private and charter vessels.
Adela LUPIKOVA — Chief steward/ess (Czech)
Adela was born and raised in Czech Republic. After her first hospitality experience in Scotland and studies in the USA, she came across yachting and saw the perfect opportunity to combine her hospitality skills and passion for the sea.
After years of experience, she truly enjoys all aspects of her job and cares deeply for her guest and fellow crew members. A fair team player, Adela is professional, hardworking, reliable. She loves organisation, interior design and wine. When not working, she loves to discover new destinations and doing yoga, horseback riding and surfing.

Emmie is here to keep things pressed, fresh and wrinkle free! She is the one behind the scenes and here to wash your worries away. Passionate about life at sea, Emmie works on the boat where she combines her love for people, travel and exploration. Whether creating memorable guest experiences or seeing new coastlines Emmie thrive on adventure and the endless beauty of the ocean.
Brady SNODEY — Stewardess (South African)
Growing up on the coastline of South Africa Brady naturally developed a love for the ocean and the natural world around me. She has always been adventurous and decided to combine her love of travel with the organization and hospitality skills. Brady loves animals and being anywhere tropical. Her hobbies include reading, going for walks, scuba diving, collecting seashells and spending time with friends or family when given the chance.

Frans joined yachting in 2017. He has travelled to 5 continents & completed many crossings. Frans brings energy, skills & professionalism to every charter.
Alec SMIT — Deckhand (South African)
I am dedicated to the sea above and beneath, exploring shipwrecks and sea life. In my free time, I sail, enjoy diving, and spend time off-roading.
Andrew DOUGLAS — Captain (New Zealander)
Andrew started in the yachting industry 23 years ago as a deckhand and has focused his efforts in gaining the necessary experience and qualifications to become the full-time Master of a vessel. Having successfully obtained his Master’s license, he now re-joins ST DAVID as Captain. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys reading and following the Formula 1. When back in his native New Zealand, he plays ice hockey and indoor football, as well as skiing when given the chance. For the last 30 years, Andrew has enjoyed creating hand-crafted radio-controlled model boats, planes, and 5” gauge steam trains.

Varban was was born in Varna, Bulgaria. He enjoyed and finished Naval Academy there. Varban has more than 20 years at sea and more than 10 as Chief engineer onboard various type of vessels.

I've delved into restaurants, event catering, the yachting sector and even served as a personal home chef. Through these experiences, I have developed strong organizational skills, a disciplined approach, and a genuine commitment to personal growth. When it comes to my cooking, I focus on engaging our natural senses like smell, appearance, taste, and texture. This ensures a delightful and memorable dining experience for my guests

As soon as Mienke had broadened her horizons traveling across the world, she became hooked on discovering, from places and people to languages and cultures. Mienke is from a rural area in South Africa, love putting smiles on people's faces with her creative flair and passion for service excellence. Now she strive to fulfill her ambition as a service stewardess onboard St. David.

Jenna was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She is an internationally qualified SPA therapist performing all treatments such as skincare, lashes, spray tans, brows, waxing, nails and makeup. Jenna has a huge passion for skincare, health and wellness and always strives to give the best possible personalised treatments to the guests on board.
Svetoslav LYUBENOV — Engineer (Bulgarian)
Svetoslav was born in the maritime capital of Bulgaria, Varna. Since childhood, he has been deeply drawn to the sea, which inspired him to pursue a maritime-related field. Svetoslav hold a Master's degree in Marine Engines and Machinery, where he combined theoretical knowledge with practical experience throughout his education. In addition to his professional interest in the maritime industry, Svetoslav enjoys spending his free time engaging in water sports, playing football, and fishing.

I’m a 23-year-old sous chef from South Wales with seven years of experience in high-end hotels and restaurants. After earning my culinary degree in Birmingham, I now bring my passion for fresh, flavourful food to life at sea, creating memorable meals for guests on board.
