The anchorages on East Corsica:
Ajaccio is one of the major ports of Corsica and is located to the west coast of Corsica. It establishes a direct charter path with nearby French communes such as Marseille, Nice, and Sardinia. It’s the largest in the island and one of the busiest ports in the vicinity and sees a daily traffic of tens of thousands of passengers boarding and alighting from ferries and luxury yachts.
Ajaccio’s is a tender port and has a cruise terminal on the west side, at Quai L’Herminier. Here you can book berths for your yacht, reserve taxis for city travel, and find refreshments.
Ajaccio is best known as the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte and for his ancestral home, Maison Bonaparte. Tourists usually enjoy walking trails in the city and old village areas, which are flanked by cultural heritages.
