Calvi

The port of Calvi, sometimes also known as Port Xavier Colonna, is located to the north-west of Corsica. It attracts flocks of tourists around the year due to its laid-back old town vibe and hilltop village. Known as the starting point of Christopher Columbus’s voyage, Calvi has a blend of historical culture and modern amenities. The well-managed port itself is a testament to its growing popularity among tourists.

Calvi is the fifth-largest commune in Corsica and has a merry population. Tourists enjoy water sports and sightseeing. The Santa Maria Church and other historical monuments are crowd pullers near this port.

The port of Calvi has around 150 berths that can be booked by calling VHF9 as you approach the harbor.
